Liam

Liam.....

Long-suffering husband of Lisa. Downtrodden and emotionally abused by his wife. He does everything at home, all the household chores and is the chief money maker, providing everything for Lisa. He has little sleep and, because of that, he is grumpy and 'doesn't suffer fools gladly' . He is a petty thief too....feeling pressured into obtaining more money to feed Lisa's excessively lavish lifestyle. He lives in constant fear of Lisa as he is frightened of her leaving him.....which she has threatened on many occasions.

He does take the odd (legal) job from time to time but, in the main, his money is all made from illegal activities.  

Liam has a criminal record and has had four stints in prison. When he was younger / a minor, he was sent to a remand home where he stayed for two years. Much of his childhood life (from the age of two) was spent in care homes and with foster families as his parents were both drug addicts and were unable to look after him. He has numerous half siblings and privately suspects he has many more. All the siblings he knows of are tattooed on his arms and he has a lot of other tattoos over his body, some self-administered and made by 'friends' but mostly professionally created. 

Liam's relationship with Lisa's dad (Dave) has been tense from Day 1 but Liam views Dave as his own dad and would do everything for him that he could. He would introduce Dave (to his friends etc) as 'My Dad' much to the annoyance of Dave who secretly hates him.  Later in life when Dave spent his last few months in a home (due to his Alzheimer's disease) Liam would visit daily and was always very loyal to Dave.
