Ironing Man....

A neighbour and lifetime friend of Maeve and Dave. He was the first person they met when moving into their flat in Seven Kings after fleeing Ireland and being homeless for nearly a year. Meticulous, manicured and crisply dressed. A widower for several years. Obsessive behaviour, fast talking and forever asking how you are in an intrusive way. Always needing to get back quickly to resume his ironing. Offered Rob a room in his council flat when he learnt that Rob had nowhere to live and accepts rent from him (even though he is not allowed to sub-let his property). Claims to not know what Rob gets up to although it is likely that this is more complicit.
