Ayesha....

Originally living under Taliban rule in Kabul, Afghanistan and managed to escape to Ealing where she met Paddy who used to travel up and down on the central line as a weekend activity. She is humble, bought into the whole Muslim piece and wears full Muslim hajib. She is an excellent cook and full vegan. She has few friends but is sweet on Paddy; he is one of the few 'western' people who she feels comfortable with and she feels he understands her and her culture / religion. They intend to move in together but keep their relationship platonic as they are friends rather than a couple. Religiously places pebbles into an old stone jar every night (originally the stones would just be black and white to represent 'good' or 'bad' following each day but then she evolved it to represent the overall summary of the day in words). The pot was one of the only items she managed to bring with her from her home country. Suffers abuse and hostility from neighbours on a daily basis (racist and anti-Islam attacks) despite living in a predominantly Muslim community and in a road with two mosques.
