Upstairs neighbour when Dave and Maeve lived in their flat when first coming to London. Schizophrenic with horrendous associated mental health problems. Spends time in nearby Goodmayes Mental Hospital where she receives electric shock treatment. Screams loudly, particularly at night but also when her medication starts to decline in potency. Volatile, opiniated, socially inept and vulgar She swears, using horrendous filthy language. Her birth name was Dilraj and was born into a strict Seikh family. Blossom is a transgender lesbian (but celibate). Maeve took pity on her when she was their neighbour and they kept in touch over the years. Maeve managed to get her a job with Keith / Lynn in the charity shop and Blossom also helps out in the pet shop next door for a few hours a week. Despite Maeve's generosity to her and extending her friendship, Blossom is just ungrateful and very nasty towards Maeve. During her short few hours working in the pet shop, Blossom has several 'episodes', one being when she screams at a puppy for 'judging her'.
